COMMUNITY OF CARE FUND
In response to the recent incident at Branham High School, when students formed a Nazi symbol* and posted it with antisemitic language on social media, Campbell Unified High School District is standing firm against hate.
The CUHSD Education Foundation establishedThe Community of Care Fund to support the district in its ongoing efforts on restorative practices and fostering more inclusive climates at all campuses, including observance forInternational Holocaust Remembrance Dayon January 27, 2026.
The Community of Care Fund will also support the district's long term efforts including, but not limited to:
- Review of the CUHSD current Holocaust curriculum
- Review and/or creation of CUHSD Media literacy curriculum
- Further promotion of inclusion respecting all peoples
The Education Foundation has seeded $3,000 and will match gifts dollar-for-dollar up to $10,000. With your contribution, CUHSD students will receive an education rooted in care and connection.
*Going forward, CUHSDEF refrains from referring to the Nazi symbol as a swastika in respect for the cultural significance of the swastika for the Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain communities. The Foundation reaffirms its commitment to ensuring that every member of the community feels valued, safe, and understood.
